    Michael Jackson plans UK comeback?

The former king of pop may have had his crown knocked off in recent months but Michael Jackson is rumoured to be planning his comeback in the UK.

The singer reportedly wants to relaunch his pop career in London and record a charity song for victims of Hurricane Katrina.

But Jacko won't be going solo just yet - stars like James Brown, Jay-Z, Missy Elliott and Mary J Blige are set to join him on the track, according to reports.

A source said: "Michael wants to release it within the next fortnight. He can't wait to visit London."

Jackson has been a singing superstar since the age of eleven, when he had four consecutive number ones with The Jackson Five.

His two 1980s albums - Thriller and Bad - topped the album charts but then his eccentric lifestyle threatened to overshadow his musical talent.

His 1994 marriage to Lisa-Marie Presley lasted just two years and his long series of cosmetic surgeries, most of which he denies, became notorious.

This year he was tried on charges of trial molestation and conspiracy. He was acquitted in June.

by Scott Colothan on 9/30/2005 More News...

Michael Jackson is set to come to London next week to record his Hurricane Katrina charity single.

The King of Pop will leave his current base in Bahrain to begin work on the track, tentatively titled ‘From The Bottom Of My Heart’.

Jacko is keen to come to the UK because he’s apparently a fan of British producers, reports The Sun.

As previously reported on Gigwise, Jackson is set to team up with a galaxy of stars on the Katrina single, including James Brown, Mariah Carey, Missy Elliot, Snoop Dogg and Mary J Blige.

Speaking about the New Orleans tragedy, Jackson said: “My heart and prayers go out to every individual who has had to endure the pain caused by this tragedy.”

    Michael Jackson Comes To London

It appears Michael Jackson has chosen the UK as the place to re-launch his career, with the singer planning to record a charity song for victims of Hurricane Katrina in a London studio.

Jackson will be coming to London to record the song, which will mark his first visit to the UK, and indeed his first professional engagement since being cleared of child abuse charges at a court in Santa Maria, California back in June. Since then the star has been residing in Bahrain with his friend Prince Abdulla.

However, it seems the devastation wrought by Hurricane Katrina has prompted him to return to music, with Jackson recently speaking out about the event, saying in a statement, “My heart and prayers out to every individual who has had to endure the pain caused by this tragedy.”

The troubled singer will be performing on the song, entitled ‘From The Bottom Of My Heart’ alongside The Godfather Of Soul, The Hardest Working Man In Showbusiness, Soul Brother Number One, Mr James Brown, reports The Sun.

Also featured on the track will be Jay-Z, Missy Elliott, Mariah Carey and Mary J Blige.

The paper's source said: "Michael wants to release it within the next fortnight. He can't wait to visit London. He's always had incredible support from fans in England and admires the top producers there."

It’s rumoured that the song will be recorded within the next two weeks.
